OUR

 COLOR SHELL

Do you like colors? For the colored shells, we use leftover pieces with a less pronounced pattern than the natural ones. This is to minimize the spillage of wood. They can vary in wood species but are often birch and of course clear-cut. They are available in the colors green, pink and blue and are also treated with only hard wax oil.

Be careful when taking off and on the shell. Insert the left part of your phone into the cover and gently press down on the right side. When removing your shell, press your thumb through the camera hole while grasping the top edge of the shell with the rest of your fingers.

GOLD RAIN

In terms of the pattern of the wood, golden rain (Laburnum anagyroides) is such a close tropical tree we come to Sweden. The wood for your shell comes from a small farm in the area around the village of Stallarp in the Småland highlands. When the tree obscured the view from the kitchen window, it had to be cut down but is now left as a memory and adorns your phone.

ELM

HERE YOU GOT

This perennial elm has grown at Skånska Gruvan on the royal Djurgården in Stockholm. When the tree was attacked by elm disease, it had to be taken down. After reconciling with Djurgårdsförvaltningen, we had to save some wood. Skansen Bygg helps with sawing the wood into planks. The beautiful wood is now left as a memory and adorns your phone.

HERE YOU GOT

 ASK

Ask (Fraxinus excelsior) is a large deciduous tree in the lilac family. The tree is famous for their leaves sprouting last of all (native) deciduous trees in the spring. This box has grown in a forest area in VingÃ¥ker in Södermanland. The old ash tree was felled to make way for new rejuvenation of deciduous trees. The beautiful wood is now left as a memory and adorns your phone.

 BJÖRK

HERE YOU GOT

This birch, about 150 years old, has grown in Ulla Kleberg's garden in Stjärnsund in Dalarna.  The tree has been loved and adorned the yard. As there was a great risk that the 30 m high tree would break, it was taken down.   there is now a high stump  for the sake of biological diversity. The beautiful wood is now left as a memory and adorns your phone.

CHERRY

The dark, beautiful grain of the cherry (Prunus) means that the wood has sometimes been called "Swedish teak". The wood for your shell comes from a small farm in the area around the village of Stallarp in the Småland highlands. The tree grew on a pasture and was felled because it stood in the way of accessibility. The beautiful wood is now left as a memory and adorns your phone.

THE TREE THAT BECAME YOUR SHELL

Since all our wood is traceable, you can read more here about where exactly the wood for your shell has grown.
