LOW OMPACT LOW IMPACT SMARTPHONE CASES

Carpentry and engineering meet in new SWEDISH technology

In the autumn of 2018, Frida asked the question that started everything: why should a country with almost infinite wood resources import large amounts of plastic products? In 2020, the couple Frida and Richard Lilliestråle began seriously experimenting with producing impact-resistant mobile phone cases made of wood in Richard's family's factory premises in Spånga.

Mobile cases made of SAVED wood

We have chosen to manufacture our cases from hardwood, which is suitable for the high precision and level of detail that we need to achieve. Every year, large amounts of wood are felled in parks and green areas. We save some of this wood, which is otherwise chipped and burned, and transport it to our premises in Spånga. The entire manufacturing process then takes place in the factory premises; from piece of wood to finished case. Each case is processed with milling technology from solid wood with reinforced edges of crossed timber. A patent application is pending on the technology we have developed.

To get to where we are today, we have thoroughly tested and experimented
until we created a product that is appreciated by thousands of customers.
Mobile covers from Bark are sustainable both for our earth and your phone.
